Biking and Kayaking on Independence Day Weekend
I had a great Fourth of July weekend filled with friends, family, picnics, fireworks, and relaxing.
I spent today biking along the Perkiomenville Creek and then kayaking downstream. We saw a great blue heron, turtles, crayfish, ducks and little ducklings (time to break out the Eastern Birds guidebook again!), and a kingfisher looking for a meal.

Nice river. Any alligators?
I thought so, but it was only a rock! :-)
Happy Independence Day, Ann - looks like you had a great weekend, paddle, and ride. Art
Thanks Art, Happy Independence Day! Yes it was a fun weekend!
