Back on the Trail, Lehigh Gap
I'm happy to be out hiking again! Today was one of the most beautiful weekend days we've had all year, mostly warm with an ever so slight breeze, perfect for hiking.
Railroad bridge
This house on the hill has been there as long as I can remember. It reminds me of Edward Hopper's House by the Railroad. Some day I must find out more about it!
Ah greenery! How refreshing!
I always love hiking near water.

Vision
The primary purpose of this blog is to serve as an instrument of self-expression. It is a place where I can share my photographs of the beautiful places I hike to. Because I am fascinated by the potential of blogging as an agent for change, I will also occasionally share my thoughts on ideas which are important to me, namely environmental protection, social justice, peace, human diversity, compassion towards animals, self-development, and communication. Comments and dialogue are welcome and encouraged!Receive Updates Via Email

"When small things are done with love, it's not a flawed you or me who does them: it's love. I have no faith in
any political party, left, right, or centrist. I have boundless faith in love. In keeping with this faith, the
only spiritually responsible way I know to be a citizen, artist, or activist in these strange times is by giving
little or no thought to 'great things' such as saving the planet, achieving world peace, or stopping neocon
greed. Great things tend to be undoable things. Whereas small things, lovingly done, are always within our reach"
